With the introduction of the Driver CPC legislation Road Transport has teamed up with Fraikin to run the Big Train - a major training initiative aimed to offer you and your drivers low cost, high quality training.
The Driver CPC training directive came into force on 10 September 2009.  From this date all truck drivers need to carry out 35 hours approved training every five years in order to continue driving for a living.
“It makes sense to start the Driver CPC asap,” says Keri Ashton, HR Manager - Resourcing & Development at Fraikin and the person responsible for Driver CPC training at the contract hire, fleet management and rental giant.  “This programme is aimed at offering quality training across all areas of the Driver CPC syllabus and delivering drivers need to know information in a relaxed, modern training environment.”

Many hauliers may be tempted to leave it later to book their training days - by doing this there is a risk that demand will increase, trainers will be in short supply and prices soar.

Don't leave your booking until the last minute.
There are only limited places available, so get on board and book today
